Uncles Pete's at 125 Charles St. on Beacon Hill is a seriously welcome addition to the burgeoning menswear boutique scene in town. Edgier than Uniform, more affordable than Riccardi, the place is filled with mix of lesser known labels (even I learned a few things... check out WOLF vs. GOAT) and some solid standbys like Nice Collective and Rogue's Gallery. Quite a few of the pieces I put my hands on were US made, which is incredibly important to this blogger and should be to all people who value workmanship and quality in their garments.
The items are curated with a definite sense of humor and real feeling for what will sell in Boston by Peter Tam, who's pedigree includes Diesel and The Tannery. Effortlessly hip and not at all hipster, Uncle Pete's is worth a trip, and a great excuse for pancakes at the Paramount. (Plus all fall/winter is currently 30% off...)

Awesome fitting rooms
My long suffering shopping companion even chilled out

Finally had a chance to check out your blog, and it's awesome! My working from home and you guiding my shopping could be a dangerous combo (just spent some dough with Rogues Gallery, thanks to you). Great job!
